Acer Aspire One D260

I purchased one of these after researching and using many different makes of netbooks. I also carry out computer repairs, so it was easy for me to know which brands were more reliable than others. For £229 I got myself one of these little beauties in black. Pictures don't do this netbook any justice, it looks much better in the flesh, just visit a store that has them on display to see what I mean.

Now down to the nitty gritty, how does this netbook perform. Well, was I surprised or what, the Intel Atom N450@1.66GHz processor does it's job remarkably well. I was ready to upgrade the RAM but found there was no need as the 1GB installed was sufficient (I have now upgraded the RAM to 2GB, it made a noticable difference). An excellent size of hard drive is fitted, 160GB, plenty of space for all my photos and documents. These netbooks come in different configurations, for more information visit:

I am highly delighted with this netbook, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
